Women Build

Each year SFHFH participates in Women Build, where all women teams volunteer together to build a home. In 2009, SFHFH participated in National Women Build Week where across all 50 states, more than 7,000 women volunteers built at more than 200 Habitat for Humanity construction sites. The impact of Women Build programs has been immense and rapid. In 2010, we plan to host a Women Build program. Please contact Devin at devin@santafehabitat.org if you're interested in becoming part of the program, or would like to be included on our Women Build e-list.

A few of our Sponsors and Partners:
Developed through the partnership between Lowe’s and Habitat for Humanity, National Women Build Week challenges women to devote one day to the effort to eliminate poverty housing.  The event is an initiative of Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program, underwritten by Lowe’s, which brings women from all walks of life together to learn construction skills and then use those skills to build simple, decent affordable houses.
